Gunk...
Blakely woke up this morning with a bunch of gunk in her eye. There was so much that her eye was sealed together, I had to wipe it off in order for her to open her eye. I think it might be a clogged tear duct... I am doing warm compresses on her eye every few minutes with a wash cloth.

Conjunctivitis' very first symptom.
I thought it might be pink eye too, we are keeping an eye on it.
There are some old posts on my blog about the plugged duct. If that is what it turns out to be its no big deal. They freaked me out but it was simple and routine. Landon would have it for a day and then it was gone. He has horrible allergies and ear infections. Cooper had it until he finally had the probe surgery at 6 months. Our Dr. just said massage massage massage with your pinkie finger tip right on the top center of the nose. They say it can clear on its own and if its just allergies or something other than pink eye or cunj. it will just go away. Cooper was born with it from being sunny-side up! Hope it clears up soon whatever it is!
