We put Blakely in her big girl bed the other day just to see what she would do. She just laid there looking all around. We left her in there for about 15 minutes, while we were walking in and out of the room doing stuff. She just kicked her legs and looked around. Since Blakely was starting to get sleepy we swaddled her up and laid her in her big girl bed for a nap. She only slept for about 15 minutes, but it's a start. I think she is going to start taking all of her naps in there now that way if I need to get in my room during a nap i wont have to tip toe around.
This was her inital reaction when we laid her down. She wasnt so sure what to think about it at first...
My child usually gets one arm free before the night or nap time is over. One time she managed to get her arm out of her night gown and the swaddle. (her arm was coming out of the neck hole of her nightgown)
