A slice of heaven...

First off, I want to start by saying that Blakely took a bottle last night at 9:45pm then didnt get up till 5:15am!! This is a big difference from her usual sleep/eat pattern. Usually we feed at 10pm ish, then again at 1pm or 2pm, then again at 3 or 4pm. The only reason she woke up at 5:15am was because I leaned over and nudged her arm, when I realized that it was 5am and she hadnt woken up yet. I have to admit, I was panic stricken for a moment until she moved.

Blakely has stayed with Nanny Kay 3 days this week. On Wednesday when I went to pick her up Kay was rocking her on her porch. It was a precious sight. I dont think you have lived a complete life unless you have been mothered by Kay Brooks. She is amazing. Kay bought Blakely a birthday plate for her to use on each of her birthdays for years to come... on top of the plate, she baked us a STRAWBERRY CAKE... Kay's FAMOUS STRAWBERRY CAKE. Kay is known for this cake with it's homemade strawberry icing... yum!
