Rock N' Roll Halloween

Blakely's first Halloween was such a blast. I love being able to celebrate the holidays with her. We decided that we wanted to find a costume for her that would match her dad's. A his and hers sort of thing. We were going to have her be a parakeet and him be a pirate, but we couldn't find a cute parakeet costume. Then we thought about her being a bunny and him being a magician w/ a top hat. The bunny costume was going to have to be ordered online though and was upwards of $60. Long story short, I found a guitar costume at Babies R' Us on sale for $15! We decided right then and there that she would be a guitar and her dad would be Elvis! It was a success!

Robin, Casey, Milo, and I decided to take the kids trick or treating to a few houses of people we knew in the neighborhood. Addy was a chicken. That costume on her was so precious!!

Yes, I sewed a bow onto her costume. I didnt want people to think she was a boy guitar. ;)

We had to switch to an umbrella stroller because Blakely wanted to hang over the side of the wagon.

Trick or Treating at the Bickston's. At this point Adalyn had already fallen asleep and Blakely was on her last leg guitar string.

Both girls wiped out. Blakely didnt take an afternoon nap that day, so I knew she was either going to have a melt down or fall asleep. I was happy we were melt down free.

Party poopers.
