Happy Birthday, Uncle Scott

Uncle Scott's birthday was on Monday, October 19th. He turned 22. I'm getting so old. Blakely loves loves loves her Uncle Scott. One of her first words was 'Scott', which sounded more like 'sgot.' There are 5 people that Blakely never hesitates to go with. Her mom, dad, Bob (this is what she calls my dad), Nonnie, and Uncle Scott. These are the only people she could be alone with and not get scared. We are going through a big stranger phase.

On Tuesday I decided to let Blakely have a tiny tiny tiny piece, more like a speck actually, of leftover cake. The piece was smaller than the size of her pinky. I also gave her a pile of whip cream on her tray about the size of her fist. I have done this before when I was desperate to make a business call and needed her to sit quietly in her highchair. I was having another one of those moments where I needed to run out of the room quickly and I wanted her to be occupied. When I was in the other room for about 2 minutes I remember thinking to myself.... 'Blakely is going to be sticky when I go get her, I will have to give her a bath now.' Never in my wildest imagination did I expect to see this........

Apparently when whip cream melts into more of a liquid form then combines with even the tiniest bit of RED icing it can go a long long way. I was shocked! She was thrilled!
