This weekend my sister, mom, and I went shopping for Robin's nursery fabrics. She is getting custom made bedding/curtains with Amy Butler fabric! It is going to be so precious! We went to the Cabbage Rose in Fort Worth to pick out the fabric. I loved this fabric store... it had so many great fabrics. How dorky does that make me sound? Seriously though, Amy Butler fabrics are very trendy and this is the only storefront that has their fabrics that's remotely close to us. Most of her fabrics you can only get online. Robin is still having to order a big order online, because they didnt have all the fabrics she needed, but we were able to get about 5 different fabrics to start some accessories for the room.

After buying her fabric, then hitting up Hobby Lobby we came home and made some stuff for our girls' rooms. My mom bought me a Glitter 'B' in Canton last month, and I figured that would be SO EASY to make... and it was. So, I made glitter letters for Blakely's room. Their letter is fancy since they have the proper wood tools to cut it themselves... I have Milo working on mastering that part for me. :)

Next on my craft time list was tutu's. If you plan on making several tutu's it is well worth it to buy your supplies from some wholesalers or companies that sell it by the spool in bulk. The cost difference is huge. It take 1 1/2 spools to make 1 tutu for a baby. The spools are anywhere from $6 + in retail stores... but you can buy them online for about $2 a spool or less. I get mine from Nashville wraps becuase their tulle is super soft.

This tutu is about to get accessorized with zebra ribbon... and a matching bow. I buy my ribbon from a wholesaler also, since I use so much. If you ever need any ribbon talk to me, I will let you buy it at my cost when I put an order in. No sense in paying too much money for it at Joann's or Hobby Lobby. If you have the ability to buy wholesale I get my ribbon from Venus Ribbon and Creative Impressions. They usually give you a bunch of free ribbon when you place an order.

I also got my stuff back from the 31 party I went too at Tanna's. I love the stuff I bought. It is all fabric that is so easily washable. My friend Laura sells this stuff. I also plan on having a 31 party at some point in June. Laura, I will email you on that date!!

Blakely, Adalyn, and Brylee (Tanna's daughter) all got an apron... I forsee many play dates of baking on their Easy bake ovens, playing kitchen, craft time etc.... They will all be the same age. I cant wait!

This is a tote that mom bought for Blakely and Adalyn. They can put toys in it, craft supplies, or even a lunch.

Here are a couple other recent nursery additions...

A chandelier from the Paul Michael Company (I LOVE that store). We went to the one in Louisanna. I need to buy candles for it and some chain, to hang it from the ceiling in the corner of her room.

A bulletin board... although there isnt much room in the nursery for it, so it might end up in my office.
