Our bags are packed & we are ready to go...
Yes, we have four bags. Actually after I took this picture we condensed these 4 bags into one large bag & added the laptop bag.
Today is my nephew Mason's 10th birthday. He is in town from Arkansas and thought it would be neat if he shared his birthday with his new baby girl cousin. We almost thought that was going to be a reality today. As most of you know I have Pupps (the worst rash/ feeling EVER imaginable to man). I went to the doctor on Wednesday and showed her my steroid medication was not helping any. She told me if the itching/pain continued to get worse to call her on Friday to come back for a steroid shot. Long story short I made the call today to ask for the shot and they called me this afternoon to tell me to come on in. As usual I needed to use the restroom one last time before I left so I went to the restroom and emptied my bladder (or so I thought). Once I stood up, I started leaking a stream of liquid that I couldnt stop. It wasnt a gush, just a light steady stream. I just so happened to be with all of the females in my family so I asked my mom what she thought and she said that's what it felt like one of the times her water broke. As I stood in the hall & walked around this happened about 2 or 3 more times. It would feel like I was peeing my pants... not a lot, but enough.... and I couldnt stop it. We decided that my water had probably broken and mom and I headed for the hospital. To make a long story short once we got there they checked & my water bag had not broken, however, I did have high blood pressure and protein in my urine. They decided against giving me the shot since my blood pressure didnt go down during my visit and the oncall doctor requested I come back to the hospital tomorrow morning at 8am to Labor & Delivery for them to check my blood pressure and to hook me up to the machines for a stress test & to monitor Blakely. After I left the doctor I started having some contractions which slowly subsided after a few hours. Milo and I went ahead and finished packing our bags tonight just incase they decide to induce in the morning. As soon as I know anything good or bad we will post.
I'm hoping the doctor puts me out of my misery so I can have Blakley and be rid of this awful awful rash!! Again, this is probably wishful thinking.
