False Alarm #1... and counting...

I thought I lost my mucus plug last night. I wont share the details, to spare any male readers. I called my doctor today and described the situation so they wanted me to come in. Everything looks good. The cervix is still closed, as it should be (especially this early!!). They did do a Fetal Fibronectin test to see if I'm at risk for pre-term labor. I find out the results tomorrow. That puts my mind at ease.

Here is some info on the test they did, if your curious. I found this on the internet.

What is fetal fibronectin (fFN)?
Fetal fibronectin (fFN) is a "glue-like" protein your body makes to hold your baby in your womb. When your body is getting ready to give birth, this glue breaks down and leaks out of the uterus. Measuring the level of fetal fibronectin through a simple test can show if your body is getting ready to give birth.
What is FullTerm, The Fetal Fibronectin Test?
From weeks 22 to 35 of pregnancy, fetal fibronectin should be almost undetectable. FullTerm, The Fetal Fibronectin Test, detects the presence of fetal fibronectin, which can indicate if your body is getting ready for a premature delivery.
