Martha Stewart watch out...

I wasnt impressed with the bedding selections for little girls so we have decided to make our own bedding. By "we" I mean my mom. I can only sew pillows. I do own a sewing machine though, so maybe I will learn some. Afterall, my mom used to make us aprons and costumes etc. when we were growing up... little miss Blakely might want some dress up items of her own. I doubt she would like to dress up in pillow case.

I spent a good deal of time today looking for black and white Damask fabric for the nursery. I finally found a local Michael Miller dealer who has Dandy Damask fabric. Mom and I are going to go pick up some tomorrow. FINALLY! Now we just have to find the pink fabrics we are going to use. My idea is 2 versions of pink, one will be a flat color and the other will be satin finish.
